Introduction:
NAPE 14-90 is a low-foaming anionic surfactant, a carrier for acidic zinc plating, and can also be used for acidic zinc-nickel alloys and acidic copper plating. It exhibits good salt resistance, excellent deep plating capability, high current efficiency, and excellent hydrolysis resistance. It demonstrates good dispersing and emulsifying properties in zinc plating solutions of varying concentrations, exhibiting excellent overall performance. OX-401 is suitable for both barrel plating and rack plating.
Applications:
OX-401 possesses excellent leveling and deep plating capabilities, effectively emulsifies and disperses OCBA (o-chlorobenzaldehyde), Chemicalbook, and BAR (benzyleneacetone), and exhibits good compatibility with other additives.
USES:
OX-401 is a low-foaming, cloud-free anionic surfactant used as a purifying agent in electroplating processes, particularly in acidic zinc plating. As a sulfonate, it is hydrolyzable and, when used in combination with nonionic surfactants, can increase the cloud point. It is also readily soluble in benzylidene acetone, improving plating uniformity. Furthermore, it is suitable for operation at high temperatures, producing a bright and corrosion-resistant coating.
