Introduction
Sodium oleate is a compound composed of hydrophobic groups and hydrophilic groups. It boasts excellent emulsifying, penetrating and detergency power, and dissolves well in hot water. As an anionic surfactant, it can be used as mineral processing auxiliary agent, surface cleaner, preservative, fabric waterproofing agent, etc. It is soluble in ethanol with neutral aqueous solution, and almost insoluble in diethyl ether and petroleum ether.
Properties & Applications
As an emulsifier, it can effectively mix oil phase and water phase to form stable emulsions, widely applied in coatings, printing inks, cosmetics and other industries.
As a flotation agent, it facilitates the separation and recovery of valuable minerals in the mining industry.
In the textile industry, sodium oleate acts as softener and lubricant to improve fabric hand feel and processing performance.
It serves as rust inhibitor and lubricant in metal processing to protect metal surfaces and boost processing efficiency.

Store the product in sealed containers under normal temperature and well-ventilated conditions, with the recommended storage temperature ranging from 0ºC to 35ºC.
This product is not classified as hazardous chemicals and shall be transported as general cargo.
This product is non-hazardous chemical. Standard personal protective equipment for general chemicals shall be equipped, such as rubber gloves and long-sleeve work clothes.
In case of accidental contact with skin or eyes, rinse thoroughly with clean water immediately.
